Dupps Family: New Year's Eve 2010

Had I written this post a year ago my New Year's Eve would have played out totally different than it did this year. The past couple years we always start talking in November about what we want to do for NYE- and this year the thought of doing something on NYE didn't cross my mind until about Thursday and it didn't bother me that we didn't have plans before this. We decided to join our friends for a fun night at Trista and Gavin's house so we could take Braxton with us. We laid around and rested up all morning and afternoon so we could party all night. Braxton was excited about it because he wasn't going to be the only one up at midnight for a change- he'd have company!! It was a good time spent with friends that we don't always get to see and lots of food that I didn't need to eat, but did! :) Braxton did great all night and was even up and looking at the TV at midnight! Shortly after the ball dropping we took Brett home and headed home ourselves in hopes of putting Braxton to bed and getting some sleep ourselves! 2010 was a unforgettable year- Jeff and I are both thankful for our jobs (Jeff was busy all year), our family (they support us through everything), our friends (they keep us laughing and young), our health, and we were blessed with a beautiful, healthy, perfect baby boy that we absolutely love!
Here's to 2011~ we can't wait to see what's in store for us~ I am sure Braxton will keep our 2011 exciting and unforgettable as well!!!
