7 Weeks Old- Jan 11

Wow, where has the past 7 weeks gone? I can't believe Braxton is already 7 weeks old already.  The past 7 weeks have been absolutely amazing, wonderful, exciting, exhausting, overwhelming, etc- we feel so blessed and love our little guy so much! Braxton is I'd say every bit of 10lbs now and growing strong- we've outgrown all of the newborn clothes, several 0-3 month outfits, and quickly outgrowing size 1 diapers!!!  It's amazing the things he has learned already... he does pretty good with lifting up his head and holding it up, he can follow objects, knows mom and dad's voice, pretty sure he knows his room b/c he loves it in there, smiles like crazy, laughs when talked to, loves to look at lights, bright colors, and out windows, oh and he loves to snuggle with dad in the recliner every night and snuggle with mom and dad in bed on Sunday mornings!  He's had his first shopping trip (Bass Pro), his first trip out to eat (Logans), his first snow experience, and his first ouchie (his dad cut him while trimming his fingernails) all within the first 7 weeks of his life!!!! We can't wait to watch him grow and learn even more...
